Charles M. Jones, better known as Chuck Jones (1912–2002) was one of the great Hollywood animation directors, many of his short cartoons of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Pepe LePew, and the Roadrunner & Wiley Coyote are considered classics today. After leaving Warner Bros., he created classic TV specials like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas (1964). Chuck was a raconteur and ambassador for animation around the world. He championed the notion that animation should be respected as a serious art form.
