ABSTRACT
John Canemaker is an award-winning independent animator, author and historian, who teaches at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. In 2006 he won an Academy Award for his short film The Moon and the Son, An Imagined Conversation. (Note: Canemaker is the Anglicized version of his original family name, Cannizzaro.)
