ABSTRACT

Disney legend Alice Davis is perhaps best known for her costume designs featured on “It's A Small World” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” rides for Walt Disney's theme parks. A self-proclaimed ranch-cook since the age of 3, Alice quickly became a master chef to please the gourmet palette of her husband, legendary animator Marc Davis. From her vast library of recipes, there were favorite dishes, fascinating drinks, and fine foods always on offer—each with its own story, usually linked to their extensive world travels.
