ABSTRACT
Perhaps no single artist influenced the art of animation so much as Walter Elias Disney (1901–1966). He built his small business from a garage into a massive media empire and established new standards for animated feature films, television, and theme parks. It is rare when one single artist can make themselves so synonymous with their artform.
