ABSTRACT
Tomm Moore was born in Newry, Northern Ireland. Since starting Cartoon Saloon in Kilkenny Ireland with partners Nora Twomey and Paul Young, they've specialized in films styled with a particularly Celtic flavor. Ever since bursting onto the world scene in 2009 with Oscar-nominated The Secret of Kells, they have wracked up an impressive record. The Oscar-nominated Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner have both earned worldwide acclaim.
