ABSTRACT
As the forces and processes of globalization contribute to the formation of new albeit informalized labouring classes virtually left with no home to return to, the vast army of ‘new nomads’ hardly finds any space in the established democratic institutions. This chapter reflects on how they constitute themselves into political subjects in the hitherto unknown sites and locales of democracy.
