ABSTRACT

Rodeo Drive has a wide, landscaped median, midblock pedestrian crossings, and generous sidewalks. Al-

though the street contains two travel lanes in opposite directions, vehicular traffic along Rodeo is notably

slower than the traffic on streets of comparable scale; this is mostly due to midblock pedestrian crossings

along the street. Rodeo is tenanted by many restaurants and luxury-goods retailers that sell apparel, jew-

elry, and home furnishings. Upper stories include limited creative office space. Parking is provided in a

number of structures along Rodeo Drive that also house ground-floor retail space to maintain an uninter-

rupted shopping experience along the street.
