ABSTRACT
One Colorado is known for its eclectic mix of contemporary retail and dining within the city’s historic
buildings. Pedestrians enter One Colorado through a series of historic alleyways, which have been retrofit-
ted with decorative pavers, planters, and light fixtures. The central plaza is an outdoor dining space for
several restaurants and a venue for a variety of community arts, culture, and civic events. Metal framed
planter boxes are used to define areas for various activities in the plaza and can be moved to accommodate
different outdoor events throughout the year.
