This chapter and the next two chapters will
guide you through how to design a Commu-
nityViz analysis in a planning project. To use
CommunityViz effectively, you should approach
a planning project with a step-by-step work plan
and time schedule. As part of the work plan, it is
important to balance the high-tech of computer
software analysis and visualization with the per-
sonal touch of human interaction. Your audience
and clients need to get a feel for CommunityViz
in order to understand how it produces results
and how those results embody the needs and
desires of the residents of the planning area.
