DATA RESOURCES Our optimism about the advancement of com-
puter technology in planning is more restrained
when it comes to data. CommunityViz depends
on a variety of data, both geospatial and oth-
erwise, and the better the data, the better the
analysis. But accessing good data has long been
a challenge for GIS professionals and planners.
