ABSTRACT
The places we studied have a consistent ratio of enclosure that ranges from 1:2
to 1:4, despite the significant variation in their relative size. Via Rodeo is an ex-
ception that is more like a passage, with a spatial enclosure ratio of 1:1. Higher
ratios of enclosure can be found, but lower than 1:4 is not recommended.
