ABSTRACT
The Grove is an upscale shopping and dining district surrounded by residential space, offices, and muse-
ums. Pedestrians can walk down the central street or ride a streetcar, which runs on tracks in the street’s
center. The central gathering space located at the eastern side of the development consists of an open
lawn, fountain, and a paved plaza with food kiosks and outdoor seating. Street trees are evenly spaced and
flank movable retail kiosks and decorative street lamps.
