To calculate development capacity based on cur-
rent zoning regulations:
1. Decide on a study area. To maximize the Build-Out Wizard’s performance, choose the smallest convenient area you can, such as a city’s boundaries or the boundaries of a particular residential subdivision. For a larger area such as a county, consider performing separate analyses on geographic subsections.
