ABSTRACT
Congestion is one of the issues in the electricity market that electricity cannot be transmitted according to economic transactions due to the capacity limits of transmission lines. In this chapter, we will introduce methods for congestion management in both nodal pricing- and zonal pricing-based markets. Congestion charges, transmission rights, and transmission tariff are introduced in this chapter.
