ABSTRACT
Our discussion in Chapter 12 and later chapters on the continuity of a real-valued function at a point in ℛ1 was based on the metric for ℛ1. In this chapter, we will extend the concept of continuity to functions from one metric space into another, and discuss some interesting results. We begin with the following definitions.
