ABSTRACT

Constructivist Leadership Theories are built around the concept that what constitutes effective leadership is a humanly derived concept. Therefore, concepts such as dialogue, praxis, the Competing Values Framework, and Emotional or Cultural Intelligence are all Constructivist Leadership Theories assessment leaders can call upon in making sense of the world in which they lead. Applications of these theories ask assessment leaders to reimagine assessment through lenses that have previously been unconsidered in assessment contexts.
