ABSTRACT

The article considers the questions of geodetic and seismic monitoring for geomechanical processes in ore deposits mined. It has been shown that the methods registering deformations and destructions of the rock mass should be improved through developing the approaches aimed at determining the values of deformations, volumes of destructions and threshold values of fracture energy in terms of specific ranks of structural heterogeneities. The approach proposed is illustrated by case studies of monitoring for geomechanical processes at the mining enterprises of the Murmansk region, Russia.
