ABSTRACT
Drilling is an important component of the coal mining and used for multiple purposes including ore body characterization (with electronic geo-sensing technologies and sampling), surface and underground blast hole drilling, underground roof and wall bolting and cabling, dewatering, and especially directional drilling for methane drainage.
