ABSTRACT
Solid-state friction-based additive manufacturing techniques are novel emerging technologies, but their principles are not entirely new. These are based upon adaptations of previously established friction welding and additive manufacturing processes. This chapter concludes the present book. A summary of noteworthy points that need to be specially highlighted regarding the study of solid-state FATs has been included in this chapter.
