ABSTRACT
I CONSTITUTION AND AIMS. The British Archaeological Association is a registered company limited by guarantee (no. 2747476) and a registered charity (no. 1014821). It is concerned to promote and further the study of archaeology and the preservation of antiquities, to carry out and encourage research into art, architecture and antiquities, and to publish material in furtherance of its activities. The Association organises an annual lecture programme and conference, and publishes an annual Journal in addition to the Transactions of its conferences.
