ABSTRACT
In creating valid measures of knowledge, we have a lot of decisions to make. There are several different types of questions we can ask, and our choice of which type and what portion of each type will determine the validity of our measurement. Discrimination and difficulty assessments will allow us to evaluate individual questions.
