ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the core concepts of organizational governance, explores the unique features of how sport organizations are governed, and summarizes the key research findings on the governance of sport organizations. The chapter also provides a summary of principles for governance within community, state, national, and professional sport organizations, including a section on the ethical conduct of directors.
