ABSTRACT

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Hibernian Anti-slavery Society, held in Dublin, the 20th of September, 1845, it was Resolved – That as FREDERICK DOUGLASS, (who is now present) has just arrived from the United States on an Anti-slavery mission to Great Britain and Ireland, we take this opportunity of recommending him to the good offices of all abolitionists with whom he may meet. He has long been known to us by reputation, and is now introduced to us by letters from some of the most distinguished and faithful friends of the Anti-Slavery cause in the United States.
