ABSTRACT

It should be noted that while sociology is preoccupied with studying people in the plural, there are other types of constraints that influence the relationships between people, and the most logical of these would be ‘psychological constraints’. These are very important and will be addressed a little later, but for the moment it is necessary to briefly highlight two other types of constraints: natural and physical constraints. It has to be stated that I do not consider myself to be an expert on either by any means, but it is useful to be aware of such constraints when dealing with problems in the social sciences, and therefore to highlight their basic qualities.
