ABSTRACT
In Morocco, it is delusion to attempt to mystify the relationship between football and politics. Such a connection is too visible to pass by unnoticed. This chapter uncovers the history of Moroccan football and its place in the political regime. It seeks to examine the manifestations of the intervention of public authorities in football affairs and the relationship between sport and politics.
