ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the challenges of Westernized families experiencing the culture shift of having one or more aging members. Readers will consider the culture of aging through the lens of the Rover family and explores five specific strategies which endeavor to consciously increase helpful family transactions allowing the family to adopt new roles and collectively find a new, fluid family balance.
