ABSTRACT
The typical techniques of corpus linguistics are used to characterize quantitatively the English used by the multilingual and multicultural members of the community. This detailed analysis provides information on the core working vocabulary of the residents and gauges the corpus for the presence of common components of spoken English as per McCarthy (1999).
