ABSTRACT

This bibliography is not all inclusive. Urban research, cross-disciplinary in nature, has links to the social, behavioral, historical, and the physical sciences. The number of publications appearing annually in all the possible related fields which conduct research into urban affairs is so cumbersome as to preclude any logical arrangement for such numbers or guarantee that there is reasonable access to useful and important items found within any such arrangement. Selective and representative are the best descriptions for the bibliography. There are over 2000 citations provided. It is possible using this sample group to begin research into most topics relevant to the urban environment.
