ABSTRACT

The author reviews his more recent research, which has focused on extending the MOA scale to the Thematic Apperception Test (TAT). After providing examples of these empirical endeavors, the author describes collaborations with a colleague, Sasha Rudenstine, that link projective methods with a variety of self-report measures of children in psychotherapy. These data provide a potential wealth of avenues for the study of object representations as it pertains to psychotherapy outcome in children.
