ABSTRACT
On his arrival at Berkeley Hall in the evening, Tim found his grandfather in perfect health, encircled with an agreeable party of his friends – Mr. Lumeire; Dr. Bellamy, a neighbouring physician; and Mr. M’Gregor, an attorney. After the usual warm reception and inquiries, the discourse turned on the intelligence of the day, and of course on the adventures of the last Chapter.
