The travelling party consisted of Lady Eaglefield, her son and daughter, Mrs. Margaret Eaglefield, Mr. Mortlock, and the Swiss tutor: to these were added several servants, among which we mention as most conspicuous, old Robert, to whose care the equestrian part of the expedition was entrusted.
