ABSTRACT

Systems are everywhere! From small, familiar objects like a coffee mug to complex objects like a satellite, we are continuously surrounded by systems. Some systems occur naturally, like planet earth, while others are man-made, like an automobile. When classifying each of these items as a system, it is important to remember that a “system” is dened as a combination of things that work together to achieve a common goal. With this denition, it becomes clear that many things can be classied as a system with the proper reference applied.
