ABSTRACT
Financial literacy should be an important part of an individual’s education, especially in high school, college, and beyond. At Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU), our students are all Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) majors, whereby many of our undergraduates are rst-time college seekers in their families. rough the endowment of Mr. Alex DiSanto, a prominent developer in Central Pennsylvania, the focus starting in August 2014 was to instill nancial literacy and other business education to our students, as well as to Harrisburg high school students and the local community. e DiSanto Chair was established to accomplish this mission.
