ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the mission statement, current work and what lies ahead for the HighScope Educational Research Foundation in Michigan, USA, and the international HighScope institutes. It looks at the congruence of the HighScope approach with early years principles in the UK. Finally, it summarises five key messages from HighScope which may help to guide our future thinking about early childhood.
