ABSTRACT

tables G XXX and G XXXI summarize in a rough statistical fashion the reading habits of girls aged 12+ to 15+ in Secondary and Senior Schools. Teachers might compare their own classes with the norms stated in Table G XXX. Naturally any one class would show some divergence from these norms. Table G XXXI exhibits some of the changes in taste as the girls grow older and states the normal likely development—in so far as it can be stated by such means.
