Lubrication and cooling fit together like eggs and bacon. The lubrication system cools the inner parts of the engine as well as lubricates then; the cooling system cools the larger parts of the block and head. The radiator and the oil cooler usually occupy juxtapositions at the front of the cold air intake grille.
