Other Commonwealth legislation relating to Indigenous participation in water management

The Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) (‘NTA’) was shown to be inadequate as a basis for facilitating Indigenous participation in water management, so we now turn our attention to other Commonwealth legislation that relates to or impacts on water management, namely the Water Act 2007 (Cth) (‘Water Act 2007’) and the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (‘EPBC Act’).
