ABSTRACT

This book is a challenge: a challenge to entrepreneurs, to business leaders, and to those who believe in sustainable business. For while there are already many books advocating “sustainable” business methods, the companies they describe cannot really be called sustainable. Frugal Value sets the record straight; it gets rid of the tinkering, the tokenism and the green-wash; and tries to re-imagine from the bottom up how companies could address the socio-environmental challenges of our time. What does business as a force for good look like in our age?
