ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces basic, though fundamental notions, on vector spaces and ℝn topology, that are necessary throughout the book; this is done both to keep to a minumum the requirement of familiarity with the concepts presented, here and in the following chapters, and for reasons of completeness.
