ABSTRACT

In chapters five and six we explained that the different dimensions of meaningful work are in a dynamic relationship with each other. When one dimension, such as Unity is expressed too much, especially over a period of time and at the exclusion of others, a loss of meaning occurs. This also explains how a job or vocation that was initially experienced as very meaningful might lose its meaning over time. Or why a job that is full of meaning to one person may not be experienced as so meaningful by others.
