ABSTRACT
The process of learning is continuous and is influenced not only by innate potential and the physical circumstances in which a person lives, but also by other people. This is because others, directly or indirectly, purposely or innocently, exert their influence on the oppor tunities for learning that are available and on the behaviours they reward, ignore or punish.
