ABSTRACT

In this interview, an established and an emerging revolutionary Marxist scholar discuss questions pertinent to educational theory and its relationship to political movements. The primary purpose of this dialogue is to excavate the rich trajectory of Peter McLaren’s research and revolutionary organising. Along the way, McLaren and Ford pay particular attention to the primacy of the international situation, the question of difference and its relationship to political economy, the formation of consciousness, and the trajectory of the field of critical education.
