ABSTRACT

Up to now we have seen how original sensations and excitations set free mnemic ones through the ecphory of engrams; how both sorts of sensations influence each other within the same simultaneous complex; how, for instance, they mix together, strengthen or weaken one another, enter with each other into a homophonous relation and form differentials of sensation. As regards the weakening, we have seen that two original sensations (such as olfactory ones) can so neutralize one another reciprocally that under certain circumstances superliminal manifestation disappears.
