ABSTRACT

This very long chapter is key to the purpose of the book. It is accompanied by an Organization Template, so that as readers progress through the chapter they can record their own planning decisions on a printed copy of the template. By the end they will have a clear record of what they intend to do, which can be shared with senior management and other staff. Context and objectives are covered before the curriculum area is addressed. Identifying participants and the type of peer assessment helping technique is covered. Scheduling contact and thinking about any materials that might be needed is dealt with. The nature of any training for the staff and then for the students involved is discussed. Methods of process monitoring are reviewed, leading to a discussion of forms of assessment of students. Evaluation is covered in the template, but not in this chapter – the reader is referred to Chapter 5. Finally, forms of feedback of evaluation data are mentioned.
