The Conclusion attempts to answer three key questions: What does this book contribute to the study of nomadism today, and its complex relationship to race, colonialism, nationhood, and statehood? What does this book contribute to the study of nomadism beyond the boundaries of Palestine? And what does the study of nomadism in Mandate Palestine contribute to the study of empire and nationalism in the broader context of settler colonialism?
