ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on helping to manage one's time so one can complete the case reports the Psychology Board of Australia (the Board) requires within the time allotted. It explains how he/she can use SMART goals to set realistic goals for writing the case reports, as well as outlining key stress and time management practices that will help transition into professional practice. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. It's a mnemonic used to describe objectives, and is commonly used in performance management to help evaluate whether goals and targets set for employees can be fulfilled. The chapter is designed to help a person set out and manage his/her time to complete the case reports required by the Board for your internship program in the relevant time period allotted. It employed SMART and SMARTER goals to assist one to set achievable and realistic goals and objectives for writing the case reports.
