ABSTRACT
Chapter 11 examines the ‘Mysterium Encounter’, which includes Jung’s journey and conversations with Elijah and Salome. The discussion includes the differences between a figure of the unconscious as a projection and a member of the community of the dead. Analysis of the interactions each character has with Jung indicates their ontological difference and the attributes of an unconscious that contains each type of visual presentation.
