ABSTRACT
A response to the different criticism that the ‘minimalist’ perspective in Old Testament scholarship has been subjected to since its first appearance in the early 1990s through the intervention of different scholars, focusing on the misrepresentation of the work of biblical minimalists by critics but also on the falsehood of considering this revisionist perspective a homogenous or organized trend in the field of studies on ancient Israel/Palestine.
