ABSTRACT
The conclusion draws together the major themes that emerge in the preceding chapters. In particular, the themes of work, and love and intimacy are reconsidered. Following this, attention turns to accessing the long-term accuracy of Weber’s thesis. The book ends by casting Weber’s disenchantment thesis in a more optimistic light by pointing towards the redemptive possibilities contained within everyday life.
