ABSTRACT

This chapter documents how nine business schools belonging to the network of institutions owned and managed by the La Salle Christian Brothers in the Philippines strove to integrate the Principles for Responsible Management Education and the United Nations Global Compact Principles into a framework to be used by member schools as they redesigned their business curricula. While the framework was collectively designed by representatives of each school, the challenge is seeing how the framework translates into the actual curricula, subject contents and classroom activities of these business schools that are operating in different contexts. The framework is still in its early stages of implementation but the fruits of integration are slowly being felt at all the schools in the network, albeit at different levels.
